All Winners

The Winter Olympics will come to a close before this day concludes. I have watched some of the events on a “here or there” basis and been graphically reminded that in sports competition there is “the euphoria of victory and the agony of defeat.” In other words, as I am want to say, “for every winner there has be a loser.”

In this environment it is important to remember such a fact is NOT So when comes to the gospel’s attractive message. Its very design is an announcement that EVERY person is seen by God as a WINNER. Whether it actually occurs is our decision. But Jesus is declared to be the Savior of the world. See John 3:16 and John 4:42.

So, as some say, the “gospel’s message is better than you think.” Way better!

In Christ every man, woman and child received a gold medal!

May we repent and give our hearts to Him in deep appreciation for what it cost the Godhead to give us the gold.
