How it All Started…
Nearing the conclusion of his pastoral ministry in 2017 Bill Brace felt impressed by the Lord to begin a resource institution to assist Christian education with its many challenges. His own life and the lives of his many family members had been richly blessed through it, and thus he felt burdened to “give back.” Several friends consented to become partners with him in such an endeavor as a non-profit foundation was created named after his parents who had sacrificed greatly to provide a Christian education for him and his siblings.
About the Founder
Bill Brace
Bill Brace recently “retired” from pastoral ministry after forty-one years. His personal blessings from Seventh-day Adventist education, the sacrifices of his parents and the teaching ministry of his sister Wanda Hopkins for approximately fifty years inspired him to begin this foundation dedicated to “giving back.”

God at Work
It’s amazing how God works sometimes. A request came to our Ken and Mabel Brace Foundation from a school on the western frontier. A small Christian school I had never heard of before. As I looked at the request I took note of the contact info and mentally decided I would call the folks this morning to tell them we would not be able to help. Or if we could help after distributing our funds to other schools, it would not be very much.
That was about 8 pm.
O, ye of little faith!
At about 9:20 pm our foundation treasurer called me all excited. She had opened her mail and out tumbled a check for $20,000. . . the exact amount the small Christian school had requested for student aid for the 2026-2027 school year!!!
To God be the glory!
